Let’s be honest. Obviously I have reasons for going through all the work to setup and maintain the site. So, what’s my motivation?
First, I was annoyed that I couldn’t go anywhere and get an up to date source all in one place. Some of ‘em were over here, some over there, some on the front page of CNN or whatever, but, hard to track them down to the original source. I’ve found a bunch of those original sources and set the site up to get updates from them and present them here, as a central location for a quicker and more convenient way to keep up to date.
Another reason is to point out the alarming number of recalled products out there - most days there’s some, some days there’s many. The news can’t report them all, so most people never hear about most of the recalls. And, it’s not unfair to mention that the vast, vast majority of these are made in China.
So what can we do about it? First step is to be informed. Then, maybe, just maybe, we can fix the problem. But in the meantime, lets protect ourselves and our families and pets.
